Lorinser opened as a garage in Waiblingen in March 1930 and became an official Daimler-Benz dealer in November 1935. The tuning arm followed in 1976. And during 2025 the whole marque passed to a Chinese private investor — which makes “made in Germany” a question rather than an assumption.
