

The Short Version
- 5×114.3 on every JZX90 grade — Avante, Avante G, Tourer S and Tourer V alike.
- The Tourer V is staggered from the factory: 16×6.5J at +50 front, 16×7.5J at +55 rear. The other grades are square.
- The hub bore is explicitly marked “under investigation” in the Japanese database — and it is marked that way for the entire Toyota X-platform family, JZX90 and JZX100 alike.
- We found no fitment difference between JZX90 and JZX100. Same PCD, same wheel, same offsets on the Tourer V.

The Tourer V Stagger
This is the detail that matters most and the one that trips up buyers of used sets. The Tourer V is not square. Toyota specified a 6.5J front at +50 and a 7.5J rear at +55 — an inch of extra width at the back and five millimetres more inset to keep it inside the arch.
The Tourer S, which looks identical from outside, is square at 16×6.5J +50 all round. The Avante grades are square at 15×6J +50.
So a set of four matching 16×6.5J wheels is factory correct for a Tourer S and is not factory correct for a Tourer V. If you are restoring rather than modifying, get the grade right first.
JZX90 Versus JZX100
We publish a JZX100 Chaser guide and buyers cross-shop the two constantly, so here is the comparison stated plainly: on the factory tables, the JZX90 Tourer V and the JZX100 Tourer V are the same fitment — 5×114.3, 16×6.5J +50 front, 16×7.5J +55 rear.
We looked for a difference and did not find one. If somebody tells you JZX90 wheels will not go on a JZX100, ask what they are basing that on.
About That Bore Marker
The Japanese database prints PCD, hole count and hub bore on one line. On the JZX90 it reads 114.3 mm, 5 holes, 調査中 — under investigation.
What is interesting is that the same marker appears across the whole family: the GX81, the JZX90 and the JZX100 all show it, while Crown, Starlet and MR-S pages on the same database show clean numbers. This is not a gap specific to the Chaser. The database has simply never researched hub bore for the Toyota X platform.

Sizing
The Tourer V’s +50 and +55 are deep by drift-scene standards, which is why almost nobody keeps them. The common move is 17×9J to 18×9.5J in the +15 to +35 range, front and rear, usually with camber and arch work.
If you want the factory look with modern rubber, stay in the +45 to +55 band and keep the stagger. That is the setup Toyota’s chassis engineers arrived at, and on a rear-drive car with this much torque it is not an arbitrary choice.
Importing
The JZX90 ran from October 1992 to 1996, so the whole generation is eligible for US import. The Chaser was never sold in North America under any name.
What We Could Not Verify
- Hub bore, for any grade. Explicitly marked “under investigation” on every X-platform page we checked.
- Mark II and Cresta wheel tables. Same platform and almost certainly the same hub, but we did not open their pages.
- The four-wheel-drive JZX93 Avante Four grades, which we saw only in the index.
