The 370Z has the most extreme front-to-rear offset split of any car in this series. On the 18-inch package the front runs ET43 and the rear runs ET15 — a 28 millimetre difference on the same car, on top of an inch of extra rear rim width.
That is not a styling flourish. The Z34 has a much wider rear track than front, and Nissan achieved it by pushing the rear wheel outboard rather than by redesigning the suspension. The consequence for anyone buying wheels is blunt: front and rear 370Z wheels have almost nothing in common.

Bolt pattern, hub bore and thread are identical across all packages. Wheel nut torque is in the region of 108 Nm. Some NISMO cars were delivered with an ET40 front / ET23 rear variant — confirm against the wheel itself.

Section 3: What This Means When You Buy
Three practical rules follow from the 28 mm split:
- You cannot buy four identical wheels and fit them. A square set of ET43 wheels will leave the rear axle sunken by nearly 30 mm per side. A square set of ET15 wheels will not clear the front strut.
- You cannot rotate wheels front to rear. This is worth knowing before you buy tyres, because it limits your rotation strategy and changes how you budget for wear.
- A “set of 370Z wheels” must be described as two fronts and two rears. If a listing does not say which is which, ask. It is the most common source of mismatched sets on this platform.
Section 4: The 19-inch Package Is Different Again
The 19-inch Sport package does not simply scale the 18-inch fitment up. It runs ET47 front and ET30 rear — a 17 mm split rather than 28 mm, on a wider rim at both ends.
That matters if you are moving between packages. An 18-inch rear wheel at ET15 and a 19-inch rear wheel at ET30 place the tyre in visibly different positions relative to the arch. Neither is wrong; they are simply different cars from the wheel outward.

Section 5: Popular Aftermarket Sizes
Because factory rear offsets are already so low, the 370Z aftermarket works in a narrower band than most cars:
- 19×9.5 ET22 front / 19×10.5 ET22 rear — the most common square-offset upgrade. Slightly more front poke than stock, slightly less rear. Fits without body work on a car at stock height.
- 18×9.5 ET15 front / 18×10.5 ET15 rear — the aggressive street setup. Fender roll expected at the rear.
- 19×9 ET40 front / 19×10 ET30 rear — effectively a factory-equivalent replacement in aftermarket form.
Watch the front, not the rear. On most cars the rear arch is the limit. On a 370Z the front strut and the inner wheel well are what stop you going lower than about ET15 at the front.
Section 6: The 66.1 mm Nissan Bore
The Z34 uses the familiar Nissan combination of 5×114.3 / 66.1 mm / M12x1.25, shared with the 350Z, S14, S15, R32 GT-R, R33, R34 and Z32. In practice:
- 350Z wheels fit and are a common budget route, though the 350Z’s own offsets are higher than the 370Z’s rear.

- Toyota (60.1 mm) will not fit at all. Evo and RX-7 FD (67.1 mm) need hub rings.
