Nissan Primera Wheel Fitment Guide (P10 / P11 / P12): Eleven Years of Four-Lug 114.3

The Short Version

  • The P10 and P11 are 4×114.3. Eleven years of a bolt pattern that barely exists elsewhere.
  • The P12 moves to 5×114.3.
  • The hub bore is 66 mm on all three generations. It never changes.
  • The GT grades are not different. The P11 2.0 Te-V, the fast one, is still four-lug.

The Rare Pattern

Nissan passenger cars are 5×114.3 with a 66 mm bore, or 4×100 with a 59.1 mm bore on the small stuff. The Primera is neither. It ran four studs on a 114.3 mm circle from launch in February 1990 until the P11 went out of production in January 2001.

We read the factory database across the model’s whole life. All 103 P10 rows and all 95 P11 rows return 114.3 mm, 4 holes, 66 mm bore. Not one exception in either generation.

Then the P12 arrives and it is 114.3 mm, 5 holes, 66 mm bore. The bolt circle stayed. The bore stayed. Nissan added a stud.

Factory Specification

P10 E-P10 1990.02– 2WD 1.8 SV 5MT 4-door 6J×14 +45 114.3 / 4 / 66
P11 GF-QP11 1998–2001 2WD 1.8 Ci-L Navi Edition 5MT 5.5J×14 +45 114.3 / 4 / 66
P11 GF-HP11 1996.08–2001.01 2WD 2.0 Te-V CVT-M6 6J×15 +45, 195/60R15 114.3 / 4 / 66

Read from the Japanese factory wheel database. The P11 2.0 Te-V row was confirmed on its individual grade page.

The GT Grade Trap

This is the assumption we most want to head off. On a lot of Japanese cars, the sporting grade gets a different hub — the Chaser Tourer V gets a staggered fitment, the Z34 NISMO gets an entirely different offset, and so on.

The P11 2.0 Te-V — the SR20DE-powered grade with the CVT-M6, the closest thing the JDM Primera has to the European Primera GT that raced in the BTCC — does not. We opened its individual grade page specifically to check. It reads 114.3 mm / 4 穴 / 66 mm, on 6J×15 at +45 with 195/60R15.

Same as the 1.8 Ci-L family car. So if you own one, the good news is that any Primera wheel fits. The less good news is that you are shopping in the small 4×114.3 pool along with everyone else.

What Actually Fits a Four-Lug Primera

4×114.3 is not a dead end, but it is a narrow one. It was used on:

  • The Primera P10 and P11, as above
  • Upper-grade Sunny B14 and all of the B15 — though those are on a 66 mm bore too, so they are directly compatible
  • Various Japanese commercial-derived platforms, including the Minicab and the C23 Serena, though bores differ
  • A small number of period aftermarket wheels, mostly 14 and 15 inch

The practical route for most owners is B15 Sunny wheels, which share both the pattern and the 66 mm bore exactly, or period Japanese 14/15-inch aftermarket wheels drilled 4×114.3. Be sceptical of anything advertised as “4×114.3, fits most” — check the bore, because 4×114.3 wheels made for other applications are often bored differently.

The Camino and the Wagon

The Primera Camino (1996–1999) and Camino Wagon (1997–1999) are P11-era variants sold through a different Nissan dealer channel. Both match the base P11 exactly — 4×114.3, 66 mm, on 5.5J to 6J×14–15 at +45. No divergence anywhere.

Importing

The P10 launched in February 1990, so the entire generation is eligible for US import. The P11 launched in 1995 and is eligible now through 2026. The P12 becomes eligible from 2026 onward.

The P11 is the interesting import. It is the generation with the BTCC association, and the JDM 2.0 Te-V is a grade that never reached North America — the US got the P11 as the Infiniti G20, without this drivetrain.

What We Could Not Verify

  • Whether the European Primera and the US-market Infiniti G20 use the same figures. English sources also quote 4×114.3 for the G20, which agrees with our JDM reading, but we did not open a non-Japanese database to confirm it independently — so we can say the JDM figure is 4×114.3 and we cannot vouch for the English sources.
  • The Primera Wagon (non-Camino) and Primera UK model pages, which exist in the database but which we did not open.
  • The P12 bore on a second source. We read it on one database only.
